an introduction

After exactly one year of trying to conceive, my wife and I found out we (well, her anyway) were pregnant on October 12th, 2007. It was the greatest day of our lives, and we immediately called almost everyone we could think of to share our good news with. Living in the electronic age, we decided the best way to keep the people we know and love informed on a regular basis was to start this blog. Sometimes it will be me posting (john) and sometimes it will be my wife posting (jen) and at other times it may well be the both of us posting. So if you have the next 9 months free, youre more than welcome to follow along with us as we go the thru the trials and joys of our first pregnancy.
